For our ATR and vectoring robot kits we sell gear motors that are made with steel gears (not plastic or sintered metal). They run great and we've tested them extensively on our All-Terrain-Robots, Vectoring Robots, and Treaded Robots.

We also carry Tamiya gear motors and accessories for those looking for a good gear motor with a low price.

We recommend controlling the motors with one of our motor speed controllers. See our controller support page for more information. We also recommend you use our wiring kit to wire your motors to control the electronic noise generated from any DC motor. See our motor wiring support page for more information. 16mm Gear Motors

These Planetary Gear Motors are nominally 16mm in diameter. They are permanent magnet reversible DC gear motors. They operate at 6VDC and range from 9 to 219 RPM.

32mm Gear Motors

These Planetary Gearboxes are nominally 32mm in diameter with permanent magnet reversible DC motors. We carry 12VDC and 24VDC motors and range from 8 to 265 RPM. Several right angle gearboxes. Several motors have encoders.

42mm Gear Motors

These Planetary Gearboxes are nominally 42mm in diameter with permanent magnet reversible 24VDC motors. Several motors have encoders. Speed Range from 5 PRM to 340 RPM.

52mm Gear Motors

These Planetary Gearboxes are nominally 52mm in diameter with permanent magnet reversible 24VDC motors. Several motors have encoders. Speed Range from 10 PRM to 285 RPM.
